A story that begins with the soil

Founded in 2004, Estúdio La Folha brings together more than two decades of experience transforming natural spaces through science and design. Born as a family business, every project carries the sensibility of those who grew up working with the soil.

We are recognized as a reference in Brazilian landscape design, blending signature aesthetics, technical excellence, and a deep respect for nature. With more than 40 interviews featured in Vogue Living Brazil, our approach goes beyond visual beauty.

We pair family tradition with the most advanced plant science available. International experience — including research and an intership at the New York Botanical Garden — informs how we translate botanical knowledge into contemporary, high-performance design. We create spaces that make people feel alive and breathe the best of nature, delivering the botanical knowledge of our legacy to your home. From our family to yours.

SCIENCE

Biomes & Microclimates

Every region has its own ecosystem. Our projects respect the unique conditions of each environment — from windswept coastlines to urban microclimates and countryside estates.

Coastal Landscaping

The coast demands plants that withstand constant winds, salinity, and sandy soil. Our coastal portfolio combines tropical beauty with species tested over decades of experience along the southern Brazilian coast.

Tropical Almond
Terminalia catappa
Wind and salt resistant. Generous shade and tropical foliage that changes color seasonally.
02

03
Ornamental Grasses

05

Urban Landscaping

Urban environments demand plants that purify the air, tolerate partial shade, and thrive in compact spaces. We create urban gardens that transform balconies, rooftops, and courtyards into therapeutic retreats.

Country Estate Landscaping

The countryside offers the freedom to create expansive landscapes with medicinal gardens, integrated orchards, and therapeutic spaces that merge with the local nature. This is where Therapeutic Tropicalism finds its purest expression.

Our Philosophy

Therapeutic Tropicalism

Our exclusive concept is born at the intersection of advanced botanical science and signature landscape design. Every garden we create is a living ecosystem — designed to heal, nourish, and transform its inhabitants.

We integrate phytotherapy, medicinal plants, and edible species into urban and coastal spaces, creating landscapes that go beyond aesthetics: they are complete sensory experiences that promote physical and emotional well-being.

"We don't design gardens. We design therapeutic ecosystems — where every leaf has a purpose and every root tells a story."

Exclusive Digital Experience

See Your Garden Come to Life —
Before Breaking Ground

The true luxury experience is witnessing every detail of your future garden — the wind in the grasses, the sunset light between the palms, the water flowing over the stones — all in hyper-realistic 3D visualization before any construction begins.

3D Spatial Modeling

We recreate your terrain with millimetric precision using SketchUp and AutoCAD. Every contour line, wall, and species is positioned with fidelity to the executive design.

Hyper-Realistic Rendering

Using Lumion, we generate cinematic renders that capture natural lighting, real-time shadows, wind-swept foliage, and water reflections — indistinguishable from a photograph.

Humanized Interaction

Our renders include human figures interacting with the space — families in the therapeutic garden, children playing among the plants, moments of contemplation. You see yourself living there.
